U.S. Military Tropical Medicine Course delegates at PHL-IdC

A delegation from U.S Military Medical personnel participating in Military Tropical Medicine Course made a visit to the Public Health Laboratory Ivo de Carneri on Tuesday    1st August 2017. The delegation was headed by CDR Carpenter, Robert.

During their visit, the delegation had an opportunity to learn about Malaria control /elimination efforts in Zanzibar, general overview of activities conducted by PHL-IdC especially in fighting Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) particularly Lymphatic Filariasis and Schistosomiasis and also had an opportunity to visit Schistosomiasis transmission site.
